This is insane. A woman on I80, in California, attempted to ram a couple of young ladies off of the road on Monday. The woman, who was claiming to be a police officer, had just been released for a hit and run the previous day. This video is intense on a pretty high level. Admittedly, the girls' voices can be a bit much, but they ultimately handled things well. The passenger remains fairly calm, calls the police, records video for evidence, and keeps her driver from panicking too much. The driver, meanwhile, appears to be driving a stick, so she's alright in my book. Somehow, though, the Batshit Babe keeps catching up to the girls' Mazda 3 in an old F-150 Sport Trac. Hint: If you drive an old Mazda 3...it's time to get something faster. The woman's mug shot, in all of its terrifying glory, is below:

wtf is wrong with some people... I don't blame those girls for freaking out, they were probably just on their way home from college for Christmas break and then this shit happens... I also don't think drivers' ed covers what to do when a crazy person tries to run you off the highway...

Agreed. When she hits them with the truck - that's legitimately scary stuff right there. And if you're stuck in car a car that's both slower and smaller than the crazy person's...not a good situation.

i saw this shit on the local news tonight and just shook my head.

people around here have fucking lost their fucking minds.

dudes raping grandmas, dudes setting fire to their house and spraying the cops with automatic rounds.

Stockton has been like a real life GTA5 for a year now.

I know it gets weird pretty much everywhere around Christmas, but this shits gotta stop.

Some crazy guy did this to my parents, flying past them and slamming the brakes to block them. Apparently the police know him for it but can't do anything without evidence.

I saw his car and week later and smacked the mirror in as i rode by.

What a physco. Wish she had picked on someone her own size instead of these poor girls.

The driver was rightly freaked out, but I am impressed with how calm the passenger was throughout the whole thing. They did everything right.

Many years ago, a buddy and I were driving across Texas in the middle of the night to visit my folks, just tooling along in his early 90s Civic hatch. A bored semi driver decided to play games with us, pushing us onto the shoulder, tailgating, just being genuinely scary. My friend did a great job of avoiding getting us both killed and we finally managed to outrun him (he must have had enough by that point). Assholes and vehicles make for scary combinations.

I found myself encouraging them to peg her with the car when she got out and approached on foot.

Major respect for both girls. 1) The driver managed to listen and follow her passenger's instructions while (rightly) freaking out and 2) the passenger taking the initiative to call the CHP and keep finding ways for the driver to escape that crazy lady.

Also good for them to not pull over for an "undercover/unmarked" cop (sarcasm intended). Even unmarked cars have lights.
